About Christ University:
Christ University is privately owned Deemed to be University which was established in 1969 as Christ College; located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The university got autonomous title in 2004, identified “Potential for Excellence” in 2006 and declared as “Deemed to be University” in 2008; and, is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), a Catholic indigenous congregation founded in 1831 by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara.
