Sri Siddhartha Medical College (SSMC) was established in 1988 by Sri Siddartha Educational Society (SSES). Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city and situatedamidst lush greenery sprawling across an area of 350 acres, it boasts of a magnificent infrastructure and facilities to provide for intellectual growth of the students.SSMC has its own hospital with many departments that provide professional training for the students. The college has a research center with many ongoing research programs to aid the core research work of the aspiring students. It has launched various health awareness programs and contributed to the society in remarkable ways. The college was set up under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).

Eligibility

 

• A student applying for UG programmes must have passed his 10+2 examination with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

 

• A student applying for PG programmes must have an aggregate of 50% in bachelor’s degree in respective discipline or equivalent (10+2+6) from a recognized university.
