Basaveshwara Medical College (BMC) came into existence in 2001 started by SJM Vidyapeetha. Located in a serene and tranquil city of Chitradurga and sprawling across vast area of lush greenery, it is well equipped with lecture halls, library, laboratories, museums, Research center, hospital, and many other academic facilities to immerse students in the wonders of education by enhancing all aspects of their learning process. The esteemed college is recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). Eligibility

 

• A student applying for UG programmes must have passed his 10+2 examination with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

 

• A student applying for PG programmes must have an aggregate of 50% in bachelor’s degree in respective discipline or equivalent (10+2+6) from a recognized university.
